Project:   design of a photography gallery in loft space, in Chicago.

Issue:      presentation of small art work in a large open space

Answer: creation of smaller viewing spaces within the larger space

                use of “plinths” to divide up the big space , with smaller viewing areas

                providing a smaller “gallery” room, for more intimate and temporary shows.

                careful use of site lines, and the plinths to engage the viewer
